A pen plotter is a machine that draws — a robot arm holding a physical pen, guided by vector instructions to move across paper. Unlike a printer, the output is actually drawn: lines built up stroke by stroke, with the texture and imprecision of a physical tool.
I’m interested in plotters as a way to make generative work tangible. There’s something satisfying about code that produces something you can hold.
