📖 Myles’ Grimoire
A place for notes, sketches, half-grown thoughts, fragments of research, experiments, and passing curiosities gathered from my work and wanderings.
- Status
- Working
Myles’ Grimoire (the site you are on right now) is a public-ish thinking space, kind of like a Wiki, Commonplace Book, or a Digital Garden.
What belongs here
- Working notes from engineering projects (decisions, dead ends, links, snippets)
- Research trails (papers, prior art, “things to try”)
- Sketches and concepts that don’t have a home yet
- Personal systems (templates, conventions, lists I maintain)
Structured Pages
Some sections (like Projects, Research, and Tarot) use structured pages, meaning they expect a bit of frontmatter metadata (like status and dates) so I can sort, filter, and render them consistently.
See: Structured Pages.
What doesn’t
- Polished essays (those can become posts later)
- Tasks/todos as a replacement for a tracker (keep lightweight next steps only)
House style
- Prefer bullets over walls of text
- Date things when it matters (
YYYY-MM-DD) - Capture the “why”, not just the “what”
- Leave things unfinished on purpose
